Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli 4-day safari from Diani

This safari links three of Kenya’s best-known parks on one route that starts and ends at your Diani hotel. It gives you more time in the parks than a short trip and spreads the driving across four days.

How the trip works

Day one is an early start from Diani and a long drive inland via Mombasa and the Nairobi highway to Tsavo East, with game drives in the afternoon. Day two covers the rest of Tsavo East and moves on to Tsavo West, or onward to Amboseli, depending on the plan agreed when you book. Day three is a full day in Amboseli. Day four is a morning game drive and the drive back to the coast, arriving in Diani in the evening. We confirm the order of the parks, the lodges and the timing in your written quote.

What you may see

Elephant herds in all three parks, plus buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lion and many birds. Amboseli offers views towards Mount Kilimanjaro on clear mornings and evenings. Sightings are never guaranteed.

    Day 1 – Diani to Tsavo East

    Early pickup at your Diani hotel and a long drive inland to Tsavo East, with an afternoon game drive and an overnight stay near the park.

  2. 2

    Day 2 – Tsavo East and onward

    Morning game drive in Tsavo East, then on to Tsavo West or Amboseli depending on the agreed route, with an overnight stay.

    Day 3 – Full day in Amboseli

    Morning and afternoon game drives across the plains and swamps, with views towards Kilimanjaro when the weather is clear.

    Day 4 – Return to Diani

    A morning game drive, then the drive back to the coast, arriving at your Diani hotel in the evening.

No. Wildlife is wild and sightings vary with season, weather and luck. Your driver-guide knows where to look and plans game drives around the best light.
