Four landscapes in one circuit

This itinerary adds Aberdare National Park to our Samburu–Nakuru–Mara route — a forested, high-altitude park known for tree-hotel style lodges where game viewing continues after dark at a floodlit waterhole, a genuinely different experience from the open-plains game drives elsewhere on this trip.

How the eight days work

Days one and two cover Samburu. Day three is the transfer to Aberdare, with an evening at a forest lodge overlooking a waterhole. Day four continues to Lake Nakuru with an afternoon drive. Day five is the transfer to the Maasai Mara. Days six and seven are spent in the reserve. Day eight is a final morning drive before the return to Nairobi.
