Overview

Here’s a 10-day combined Kenya and Tanzania safari itinerary that includes the highlights of Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Arusha, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. This trip will offer a mix of breathtaking wildlife viewing, cultural experiences, and stunning landscapes, all while crossing between Kenya and Tanzania.

Day 1
Nairobi – Maasai Mara 3 Hrs Game Drive
We will arrange your pick up either from airport or your Nairobi hotel and transfer you to our office, be introduced to the guide and other group members. By 0830am to 0845am depart for Maasai mara with the first stop at the view point for the view of the escarpment wall. Later descend the escarpment and travel on to Narok town for early lunch. You will arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp at around 1500hrs, check in followed by evening game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2
Nairobi – Maasai Mara 3 Hrs Game Drive
Breakfast at the camp then before 0800am leave the camp with packed lunch for extensive 9 hours game viewing. Maasai mara as the highest number of different species and you will be lucky to see hundreds of them. A game drive to Mara River is compulsory, if it will be migration time you will witness the same otherwise you will see crocodiles and hippos at the river. Picnic lunch inside the park then continue with the game drive till 1700hrs. Leave the park for at least 2 hours optional activity. You will relax at the cam, Take a nature walk with Maasai warriors or visit the Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3
Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru
We will arrange your pick up either from airport or your Nairobi hotel and transfer you to our office, be introduced to the guide and other group members. By 0830am to 0845am depart for Maasai mara with the first stop at the view point for the view of the escarpment wall. Later descend the escarpment and travel on to Narok town for early lunch. You will arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp at around 1500hrs, check in followed by evening game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 4
Lake Nakuru – Nairobi.
After breakfast at the hotel drive to lake Nakuru which is famous for the endangered species {Rhinos] and the flamingos. Sometime the flamingos are very few but you are guaranteed of seeing the Rhinos among other Big Five. Lake Nakuru not a big park and within 4 hours you will have seen enough. Later leave the park with lunch enroute and drive back to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive Amboseli Rate in the evening, check in at Amboseli Kimana Camp for Dinner and overnight.
Day 5
Amboseli Full Day 9 Hrs Game Drive
After breakfast at the camp, leave with picnic lunch for the full day game viewing, you will have your picnic lunch at the base of the Mt. Kilimanjaro; continue with the game drive till 1700hrs. You will have seen the Jumbo elephants of Amboseli among other great animals. Back to the camp for optional activity at the camp. Later dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Amboseli – Namanga Border – Arusha
Early in the morning have a cup of tea/Coffee then proceed for the morning game drive, enjoy the sunrise and take great Pictures. For the 2 nights in Amboseli we are sure you will be able to see Mount Kilimanjaro which as the highest peak in Africa. By 0830am to 0900am back to the camp for full breakfast, check out and drive to Namanga border where you will catch the shuttle bus for Arusha. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Arusha Center Inn Hotel booked bed and breakfast.
Day 7
Arusha – Lake Manyara
After briefing about the safari be introduced to your guide and other group members then depart Arusha for Lake Manyara. Upon arrival check in, choose either to have early Lunch or proceed for a game drive with packed lunch. Lake manyara is one of the Tanzania most dramatically located wildlife area hosting thousands of animal species. Track the tree climbing lions and view the flocks of Flamingos before returning back to the camp for Dinner and overnight.
Day 8
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at the camp, leave with picnic lunch for the full day game viewing, you will have your picnic lunch at the base of the Mt. Kilimanjaro; continue with the game drive till 1700hrs. Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Breakfast at the camp then leave for 6 hours game drive at the crater, Ngorongoro is a conservancy and all the vehicles are allowed to spend only 6 hours as per the Tanzania Ministry of Tourism. Descend the crater with game viewing, this is one of the seven wonders and we are sure you will really enjoy the game drive. Ngorongoro host the remaining few Black Rhinos among other thousands of animals will as well be seen here, Have Picnic lunch at the crater rim later ascend to the gate and drive back to Arusha. Drop of at your Arusha hotel.
Day 10
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Breakfast at the camp then leave for 6 hours game drive at the crater, Ngorongoro is a conservancy and all the vehicles are allowed to spend only 6 hours as per the Tanzania Ministry of Tourism.
