Day 1 Nairobi (D)
Arrive in Nairobi where you are met and transferred to your hotel.
Tonight, enjoy a special welcome dinner at the Ibis Grill. Overnight:

Day 2 Nairobi – Aberdares
(BLD)
Drive to the Aberdare Mountain Range and your night in a tree hotel.
This evening, watch for animals as they come t the floodlit waterhole
to drink water. Overnight: Serena Mountain Lodge
Day 3 Aberdares – Meru
(BDL)
Drive to Meru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Meru National
park is a luxuriant forest area, supported by the permanent streams
originating in nearby Mt. Kenya. On this afternoon we view game
in the park. Overnight: Elsa’s Kopje Lodge
Day 4 Meru (BLD)
Morning and afternoon game drives are included today. Buffalo, giraffe,
eland and Oryx are common in the park. This area is most famous
for being Joy and George Adamson’s base for raising Elsa,
their famous lion. Overnight: Elsa’s Kopje Lodge
Day 5 Meru – Lewa Downs
(BLD)
Drive to Lewa Downs – one of Kenya’s oldest family ranches.
Spend the afternoon relaxing on your private verandah. Tonight a
game drive made possible because the ranch is private property and
the restrictions imposed in Government controlled game parks do
not exist. Overnight: Wilderness Trails
Day 6 Lewa Downs (BLD)
A full day at Lewa Downs includes game viewing, walks or just relaxing
poolside. A highlight is dining with the Craig family, original
owners of the ranch. Overnight: Wilderness Trails
Day 7 Lewa Downs – Naivasha
(BLD)
Drive into the Great Rift Valley today and your private home on
the banks of Lake Naivasha. This afternoon, why not take a trip
on the lake? Overnight: Loldia House
Day 8 Naivasha – Nairobi
– Masai Mara (BLD)
Drive to Nairobi and enjoy lunch at the Delamere Restaurant. Take
the afternoon scheduled light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara
and your tented camp. Overnight: Governors Camp
Day 9 Masai Mara (BLD)
A full day in Kenya’s most famous reserve allows time for
both morning and afternoon game drives. Bird life is prolific in
the Mara and all of the big cats are present. Overnight: Governors
Camp
Day 10 Masai Mara – Nairobi
(B)
After a final game drive this morning return by light aircraft to
Nairobi where day rooms are available until 6 pm. Day room:
Norfolk Hotel.

Later this evening, watch for animals as they come to the lit waterhole

Day 2 Aberdares – Nakuru

Drive into the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru, arriving in time
for lunch. This afternoon, enjoy game and bird viewing in nearby
Lake Nakuru National Park. Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge
Day 3 Lake Nakuru (BLD)
A full day at Lake Nakuru includes morning and afternoon game drives
in the park. Lake Nakuru is perhaps most famous for the over one
million greater and lesser flamingoes that gather at the Lake during
various times of the year. In addition, the tens of thousands of
other birds make this an ornithologist’s paradise. Overnight:

Day 4 Lake Nakuru – Lake
Baringo (BLD)
Travel north and stop near Lake Bogoria to see the hot springs and
geysers. Then continue to Lake Baringo, a fresh water lake with
over 450 species of birds. This afternoon, enjoy a guided bird walk.

Day 5 Lake Baringo (BLD)
Enjoy guided bird-viewing before breakfast this morning. Later enjoy
a boat trip on the Lake, followed by an afternoon at leisure. Overnight:

Day 6 Lake Baringo – Lake
Naivasha (BLD)
Drive via Lake Elementaita to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for
lunch. A boat trip on Lake Naivasha with a visit to Crescent Island
is included this afternoon. Overnight: Lake Naivasha Country Club
Day 7 Lake Naivasha (BLD)
Enjoy early morning guided bird watching before breakfast. Later
this afternoon, visit nearby Hell’s Gate. Overnight: Lake
Naivasha Country Club
Day 8 Naivasha – Masai
Mara (BLD)
Leave the Rift Valley and drive to the Masai Mara, arriving in time
for lunch. This afternoon game drives are undertaken in the Reserve.
Overnight: Siana Springs Intrepids
Day 9 Masai Mara (BLD)
Morning and afternoon game drives are included today. Overnight:

Day 10 Masai Mara – Nairobi

Drive back to Nairobi today arriving around midday.
