Our 4 Days Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru camping tour starts in Mombasa the evening before the main group departure which is from Nairobi. You are either taken to the airport for your flight to Nairobi in which case you will require one nights accommodation in the capital city before continuing your safari in the morning or you shall travel overnight by train or luxury coach in which case you shall arrive in Nairobi in time for breakfast and the onward departure to Masai Mara. In the morning we join the group for Masai Mara traveling in a safari minibus with pop-up roof.

We descend the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley encountering fascinating views of extinct volcanoes and the panorama of the extensive floor of the vast canyon. after traversing the Savannah land of Masai country we arrive in Narok for lunch before continuing to the world famous Maasai Mara National Park with its unmatched attractions. We spend two days viewing wildlife in the Mara and then continue other Rift Valley town of Nakuru to see the migratory flamingos plus hundreds of other bird-life. Lake Nakuru is also known for its rhinos among other wildlife which include waterbuck, impala, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, warthog, hyena and many other. Accommodation throughout your stay is in tents or economy (budget hotels)

Day 1 – Mombasa/Nairobi Train – Masai Mara

You’ll be picked up from your hotel and dropped at the train/bus station. Travel by overnight train/bus from Mombasa arriving Nairobi in the morning. Upon arrival you’ll be picked up and transferred to the office. Then you drive through lush Kikuyu farmland to the edge of the Rift Valley. Descend the escarpments and drive via Narok for your lunch. Proceed to the Masai Mara Game Reserve adjoin Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Masai Mara is famous for it’s back-manned lion and yearly migration of the wildebeest and zebra, elephant, buffalo, Gazelle, leopard and giraffe are also found here. An afternoon game viewing drive in this fabulous park looking for animals in their own habitat. Dinner and overnight at a Campsite.

Day 2 – Masai Mara

Breakfast at the camp. A full day spent viewing and exploring this spectacular park, with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Maasai Mara National Park

Masai Mara - Kenya’s finest Game Reserve and a great opportunity to view the big five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and cheetah). The annual migration of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras from the Serengeti National Park in Northern Tanzania provide the highlight between June and August. These herbivores are followed by predators such as lions, jackals and hyenas who pick out the old and infirm playing out the perennial show of "survival for the fittest". In the remainder of the year the Park is still rich in wildlife having the greatest density of wildlife per square kilometer in Kenya.

Day 3 – Mara/ Lake Nakuru

You’ll have an early morning game drive. Breakfast at the camp. Later on you depart for L. Nakuru with a game en route. Lunch on the way arriving Nakuru late afternoon(you’ll not enter the park this afternoon till the following day). Dinner and overnight at a Budget Hotel(Genevieve/Chester Hotel).

Lake Nakuru National Park

The scenic Lake Nakuru National Park established in 1961, is situated in the Great Rift Valley, close to Nakuru town. This 107 square kilometers park is home to a variety of wildlife such as the lion, leopard, rhino, giraffe and buffalo. Lake Nakuru is also a world heritage site famous for its millions of pink flamingo which makes it a veritable ornithologists paradise with over 450 other bird species.Its unique forests of cactus euphorbia trees in addition to its being a sanctuary for endangered African rhinos give this destination added value.

Day 4 – Lake Nakuru/ Nairobi

Early morning game drive, later spend the morning watching and photographing birds and wild animals in the park till midday. Lunch will be at a Nakuru hotel. Depart after lunch for Nairobi arriving late afternoon. You’ll be taken to the bus/train station for your bus/train/flight to Mombasa. Upon arrival we pick you up and drop you at your coastal hotel.
