This three day camping adventure starts in Mombasa on the Kenyan Coast and proceeds westwards towards Tsavo East of the "Man Eaters of Tsavo" movie fame. Apart from the descendants of the man eating lions the backpacker is able to see a variety of other wildlife that includes cheetahs, jackals, giraffes, zebras, elephants, hippos, impalas, hyenas and buffalos among many other wildlife species. The bird-life is plenteous and the bio-diversity is a veritable marvel. Accommodation is in stand-in tented camps or mid budget safari lodges and transport is in a customized safari minibus with pop-up roof for game viewing and photography. The tour continues to Tsavo West and includes a visit to Mzima Fresh Water Springs that forms the lake which has an underwater observatory where you can view hippos and a variety of fish. On the third day you return to you hotel on the Kenya Coast.
Our Safari leaves Mombasa and drives north towards the vast wilderness of Tsavo East, Kenya's oldest and largest park. We arrive for lunch at Red Elephant Safari Camp. After lunch we spend the afternoon exploring the park where we can expect to see elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, kudu, zebra and hartebeest. Dinner and overnight at Red Elephant Safari Camp/Ndololo Safari tented Camp.
After early breakfast leave Tsavo East with game drive en-route and cross into Tsavo West National Park. Game drive to Ngulia Safari Camp arriving in time for lunch. Our afternoon game drive includes a visit to Mzima springs. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Camp.
Pre-breakfast game drives and then return to Mombasa, sightseeing en-route arriving by lunchtime at your hotel.

We will drive you through the Kenyan farmlands to the snowcapped Mount Kenya on the Equator. A tour of Nairobi City will take you to the National Museum , Snake Park , Animal Orphanage, Ostrich Farm and Karen Blixen Museum (of the "Out of Africa" film fame).
