7 Days/6 Nights Samburu/ Maasai Mara
DAY 1: NAIROBI
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Pick up by our courtesy
bus to hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Nairobi Serena.
DAY 2: NAIROBI/MAASAI MARA GAME
RESERVE
Drive through lush Kikuyu farmland to the edge of the Rift Valley.
Descend into the Rift Valley and drive via Narok to Maasai Mara
Game Reserve. The Maasai Mara adjoins Tanzania's Serengeti National
Park and shares in its abundance of wildlife. The Maasai Mara is
famous for its black-maned lion among other species of game. Arrive
at lunchtime after which you proceed for a game drive. Dinner and
overnight Mara Serena Lodge
DAY 3: MAASAI MARA
Morning and afternoon game drives are provided. Among the wildlife
seen are Wildebeest, Lion, Elephant and Cheetah. All meals and overnight
at Mara Sopa Lodge.
DAY 4 MAASAI MARA/RIFT VALLEY
Pre-breakfast game drive in the Maasai Mara to view the various
animals found in this park. Maasai Mara is also home of thousands
of birds. After breakfast, proceed to Nakuru arriving in time for
lunch. An afternoon game drive takes us round the lake; home of
the famous Pink Flamingo. Lake Nakuru is truly an ornithologist's
paradise. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
DAY 5: RIFT VALLEY/TREE HOTEL
After breakfast, depart for Nyeri arriving in time for lunch. For
clients overnighting at Treetops, lunch is served at the Outspan
Hotel and for those staying overnight at the Ark, lunch is served
at the Aberdare Country Club. After lunch, a transfer is provided
to either Treetops or the Ark which are strategically situated for
night game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Treetops/Ark.
DAY 6: TREE HOTEL/SAMBURU
After breakfast, proceed to Samburu National Reserve which lies
in the northern part of Kenya. Lunch and afternoon game drive in
this park renowned for its unusual Grevy's Zebra, the reticulated
Giraffe and the Uaso Nyiro crocodile. Dinner and overnight at Samburu
Serena Lodge.
DAY 7: SAMBURU/NAIROBI
An early morning game drive in the park. After breakfast, depart
for Nairobi via Nyeri where lunch is served. Return to Nairobi by
late evening and transfer to JKIA, for your return home.
